A story

Just a little thought on a silent night makes the devil's mind work! Here is an example..

There happened to be a guy, simple and reserved, who always used to remain sad and gloomy. He felt he was a little moody as well. Maybe there was somebody missing in his life. Something was gradually eating him up that is what people who'd come in contact with him for the first time might feel.

One day he meets a girl -- elegant, smart, beautiful, intelligent, multi-talented and above all innocent. She lives in her own world, writing poems, sketching, painting and playing musical instrument. She was friendly but even the closest of her friends would feel that she has a shell around her as she would not open up easily. The guy likes her instantly. As time passes, he realizes that she is the girl he had been waiting for all through. His mind gets filled up with dreams; dreams of being with that girl. Gradually that girl becomes his desire.

The girl on the other hand, unaware of the emotions of this boy, gets a little confused when they start communicating. This confusion makes her remain indifferent toward the guy. The guy leaves no stone unturned in winning her heart. He could read her mind silently and then aloud. The girl feels good on getting a thought that the guy 'understands'!

After a few months when the guy and the girl built a good level of comfort, the former thinks of proposing her. He lits candles and makes a heart out of it, kneels down and says,

"Sweetheart,
I never knew the meaning of love,
Then you came along and showed me 'True Love'.
You gave purpose to my life; which I was struggling to find.

Thank you for all the happiness and joy that you gave me.
If you let me, I would like to spend the rest of my life trying to make you happy.
Love you more than ever.. and I promise.. it will be forever!"

Then finally he proposes her for marriage. The girl is overwhelmed. This time she feels that she had been doubting this guy unnecessarily. She accepts the proposal. She now gets lost in her dreams that she had locked once as she felt that true love is rare.

14th February, St. Valentine's Day, is not far now. The girl thinks of giving a unique gift to the guy. She writes a poem for him.. she starts penning all her thoughts down on paper! This is what she writes..

She impatiently waits for the D-day now thinking how happy he would be after reading the poem written especially for him! She could visualize him waiting for her with his arms open; they having a candle-light dinner followed by a slow, romantic ball dance; whispering endearments to each other.

The next day the guy calls her up and says he is getting a feeling that their relationship won't last for long and if at all they get married, it won't work! The girl.. she is shattered. She asks him about the reason and then reminds him of his promises but he fails to convince her and asks her to move on. She was just like a perplexed child, with all the question marks on her face, staring at him trying to understand what went wrong only to get no justified answer. She thinks of the poem she wrote for him and all the moments spent together.. all his promises appear like unsolved puzzles to her.

Mind

Mind plays games! I had been trying to see and analyze all the moves it makes. Hardly could understand anything.

I guess I should focus on the positives now and see the change. If at all the law of attraction works, I might attract that. Yes! Gets a little difficult at times especially when you're left alone and get time for yourself. Mind wanders! You get all kinds of thoughts. No chains could fetter the mind.

After a long time

Finally I could manage to find my blog.. yea.. accidentally! Hopefully would continue to write now..

22nd of February.. Priti's Birthday! It was a busy day! As usual had a conversation at length with Nisha (My childhood friend) and then celebrated Priti's Birthday at her place! Her first birthday with Aanya .. her daughter! I call her snowman. :P
